Universal Class

With your library card, you have access to more than 500 lifelong learning courses online!  Universal Class brings libraries lifelong learning courses in over 30 subject areas, many of which offer continuing education units (CEUs).  All courses are designed and led by professional instructors to build deeper understanding and mastery of subject matter. Universal Class includes videos, assignments, quizzes, tests, and options for social media interaction with other learners. Creative Bug

Creative Bug provides access to thousands of award-winning video classes taught by top designers and artists, all for free with your library card!  There are classes for all ability levels!  Get started here.

E-Books and audiobooks for adults and children

Why spend money on e-books when you can borrow thousands of titles from the library for free? With Libby, you can use your library card to download up to ten e-book or audiobook titles at a time to your desktop, e-reader, tablet or other mobile device. To get started, click here.

Free Driver Education Program
Brewster Public Library is now offering a free program to provide assistance to those who are in the process of obtaining a New York State driver’s license. This program includes the following state-specific information:

  • 11 car practice tests
  • 6 motorcycle practice tests
  • 3 CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) practice tests
  • 3 online driver’s manuals (car, motorcycle, CDL)
  • An FAQ section with detailed answers to 100+ DMV-related questions
